Reference InformationIn the recent past, Sinclair Associates have performed an audit of a multi-site NetWare based network following the perception of performance problems by the users of the network. Sinclair Associates discovered a number of design flaws left in the WAN infrastructure by the original installers and proposed solutions to these flaws. The solutions were implemented and the network performance improved with no investment in new hardware. A similar task was carried out at a large corporate headquarters in Euston, London where the rapid expansion of an ATM based network had resulted in poor documentation and a number of problems. Sinclair Associates traced the network connections from end to end and discovered a number of changes that could be made to resolve the problems. These were implemented by the client after a presentation by Sinclair Associates giving an overview. |
